David Earl
Director of Development
David Earl is the Director of Development for the University of Virginia Center for Politics, working with donors to bring the Center the resources necessary to sustain and strengthen its programming and services.
David has worked in higher education for nearly 15 years, serving in marketing, communications and revenue-generating roles. At the George Washington University, David managed the Athletics Department’s corporate sponsorship program and served in multiple athletics development and marketing positions. He also served as a fundraiser for the University of California, Irvine’s School of Humanities and managed the university’s donor relations effort.
He is a two-time alumnus of GW, with a B.A. in Political Communication from the School of Media and Public Affairs, and an M.A. in Global Communication from the Elliott School of International Affairs. He serves as an election officer for Fairfax County, Virginia.
David and his wife, Emily, live in Alexandria with their two daughters.
