Garland Branch

Research Writer

Garland Branch is the Researcher Writer for the University of Virginia Center for Politics. He provides research and writing assistance for on-going book projects. He also conducts research on political history, and authors and edits documents within the fields of campaign strategy, results, social impact and political success. He serves as the liaison for the Center and various government agencies.

Before joining the Center for Politics, Mr. Branch worked at CJP Communications, the UVA Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, and The Nature Conservancy. Garland has over 20 years’ experience in communication development, as well as social media marketing and fundraising.

Garland graduated from Radford University with a degree in Journalism. He has written articles for various national publications.
